Tips
The Knappensteig goes up through a beautiful landscape, the climb is mostly narrow and steep, but doable, sure-footedness is a prerequisite in wet or snowy conditions.

The Knappensteig is a scenic opportunity to reach the Streicher / Kienberg over a partly steep mountain trail. The trail initially runs through mixed forest, is interspersed by rocks and smaller boulder fields and offers beautiful views towards Zinnkopf, Inzell and Teisenberg. The climb requires sure-footedness and is slippery when wet at the top.
