Best Hikes to Punta de Tarifa – Southernmost Point of Continental Europe

Tips

  • Punta de Tarifa is the southernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula and the imaginary border between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. The Strait, bathed by the sea on both sides, constitutes the separation of the two seas. It's great to walk around here.

  • Visiting this dam was a great experience.
You literally look at two seas and see Morocco in the background. The wind blows quite strongly here and you are whipped by the sand, but the atmosphere is somehow special. You cannot visit the southernmost point because it is a restricted area.
