Along the cycle path of the Naviglio Civico, after the area of the Thirteen Bridges (Tombre Morte) in the direction of Cremona, you first meet the hydroelectric plant of rezza and then about ten km further south that of Mirabella Ciria. Both were built towards the end of the 19th century and put into operation in the early 20th century. Both exploited two water jumps between 2.5 and 3 m along the Naviglio Civico.
