The underground, accessible connecting passages run through half the mountain.
The 'entrance is in the basement of a nondescript house on top of the mountain.
Definitely worth seeing.
Attention, the tunnels are not illuminated, a flashlight or mobile phone is essential.

The bunker complex on Murter, located on Raduč Hill, provides an impressive glimpse into history. The coastal defense installations were connected by tunnels.

Nordic walking
During World War II, the tunnels were used as a military hideout. The bunker housed three cannons designed to defend Murter (and the entire Croatian coast) from Italian warships. This nearly led to a war between Croatia and Italy. What actually happened that day is unknown.
