The relatively little-known Wat Kiri Wongkaram is located on Taling Ngam Beach and houses a mummified monk.
Monk Luang Por Ruam, who died in 1976, lived in renunciation and meditation. His body is still in good condition and allegedly without preservatives.
Very few tourists get lost in the temple complex, as the tour operators do not stop here.

Hiking
Almost unknown, pretty little temple in the village of Taling Ngam. Here - just like in Wat Khunaram on the other side of the island - you can marvel at a mummified monk. Tourists don't often stray here.
