Mănăstirea Turnu Roșu is a beautiful monastery in the forested mountains that can either be reached by car on a (rough) paved road or by foot from Turnu Roșu. The hiking path indicated by a red cross on a white background is the fastest route but follows the road for the whole duration. Alternatively, one can follow the white and red triangle markers to a picnic viewpoint and then go downhill to the monastery or follow the blue triangle on white background and then the red dot on white background markers.

Anfangs durch viele Brombeerbüsche, soon aber ein sehr schöner Bergweg über den Vorgipfel zum V. Varetului. Im Kloster unbedinget den Kirchenraum im Untergeschoss besichtigen!
First among many blackberry bushes, but soon a very beautiful mountain path over W. Varetului. Don't forget to visit the church in the monastery cell!
