Mountain biking

In 1993 a museum was set up at the Friendship Bridge in Habkirchen in the historic customs building. The Customs Museum brings the history of customs administration from the 18th century to the recent past to life. Items from the day-to-day work of customs officers are shown. Among the exhibits is an original Bavarian border sign (around 1820) and a copy of Karl Marx's passport. This bears an entry stamp from the “Royal Bavarian Secondary Customs Office 1st Class Habkirchen”. The confiscated smuggled goods are also interesting.
