Flax factory located along the old arm of the Leie. In 1936, an artificial retting facility was built at the request of Camiel Declercq, a farmer from Ooigem. A year later, under the same owner, it was expanded with a hangar and scutching facility, which were rebuilt after a bombing raid during World War II.
