Born around a tower that belonged to the family of the feudal lords of Adda, the residence was radically renovated starting in the seventeenth century. Outside it retains the beautiful serliana that marks the entrance area; inside, vast rooms flank the small seventeenth-century oratory, perfectly preserved. In the 19th century it was acquired by charitable organizations and was later purchased by the Crippa family of silk entrepreneurs. Today it belongs to the Municipality which uses the villa for exhibitions and headquarters of the local library.
