It is the main goal of the pilgrims to Billerbeck. The relief altarpiece was carved from Carrara marble and shows the death of the saint in the midst of his brothers. Another relic of St. Liudgers. In honor of this saint, a hiking trail from Coesfeld via Billerbeck to Tilbeck has been laid out. This also leads through the valley and the meadows of the Berkel, which flows not far from the Klovenburg. This hiking trail is marked in the footsteps of the first bishop of Münster with a curved white L on a purple background.
