Tips
A small pond created as a result of damming the water of the Chojnówka spring in 1899 by building a stone dam. It is situated in the north-eastern end of the Marzanna Valley. Forest Division 253. In the second half of the 20th century, the dam was destroyed. Currently, the spring is undergoing a process of naturalization.
This place is associated with the legend of two nuns from princely families. The nuns, unable to adapt to the strict monastic rules, were sent to the forest as punishment. After their death, they would appear here as black swans.
