Tried it again after 15 years: Part of the trail has been destroyed by heavy forestry machinery. And it is also very overgrown - shorts and a shirt are not comfortable. The carpets of roots are no fun in the currently wet ground. If you have to travel a long way like I did - it's probably not worth it.
