At the foot of the mountain is the village of Stocksberg, which became part of Württemberg in the 15th century and came to Beilstein. The hilltop with the Stocksberg hunting lodge and the south-western slope forest Seizengehren below remained in the possession of the Counts of Löwenstein and is still an exclave of the town of Löwenstein.

A driveway is rewarded with a grandiose panoramic view of the Löwenstein mountains. A steep dirt road goes up from the village, if you want it easier, drive on the Prevorst-Enzlensendung road and swing up to the transmitter at the hiking car park on the Prevorst side.
