Parish church of the French commune of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. It has been classified as a monument historique since 1911.

Raised to the rank of collegiate church in 1222, it was almost completely renovated between 1647 and 1670 based on a design by François de La Valfenière. In its oldest parts, the church dates back to the 14th century. Behind the Jesuit-style facade, the huge, light-flooded nave houses an extraordinarily rich baroque interior. Under the galleries of the chapels are carved allegories of the Virtues by Jean Péru.

The seven-sided apse is occupied by a large altarpiece and a semi-circular 17th-century woodwork, entirely gilded and richly carved. The altarpiece consists of two twisted and fluted columns framing a painting by Reynaud Levieux. It depicts the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and was painted in Rome in 1680. The columns support a finely carved arcature on which two angels rest. The arcature itself is surmounted by a recessed triangular pediment bearing two more angels framing a statue of the Virgin Mary.

The side chapels are filled with artworks by Nicolas Mignard, Pierre Parrocel and Simon Vouet. In the first southern chapel, a painting by Wilhelm Ernst Greve from 1636 shows a cavalier view of the city that was just being liberated from the plague. On the altar is the statue of Notre-Dame de Sorguette, the patron saint of fishermen, who is carried in a procession every year.

Extremely magnificent inside - like a typical baroque church.
