The Hermitage of Santo Spirito a Majella is a wonderful ancient mystical hermitage dating back to the 13th century with a significant history. It was founded by Pope Celestine V, who spent a lot of time there. The hermitage is very well preserved, unlike many others in the area. During the summer, it is open every day except Mondays. The rest of the year, it is only open on weekends.

From the parking lot it is only a short walk to the Hermitage. The church is freely accessible, visiting the monastery costs a few euros. The upper floor can be reached via stairs carved into the rock. Mostly walkable, but some sections are quite steep and uneven.
