This splendid castle was built in the 15th century. It belonged to the Pineau family until 1543. Overhauled over the years, it was burnt down during the French Revolution and the Wars of Vendée. Charles Delaunay, general councilor and mayor of the town, had it rebuilt in the 19th century. Only the 2 round towers at the back remain from the old castle. Unfortunately it is abandoned nowadays.
