From the Zwönitzblick you have a wonderful view over the landscape of the Ore Mountains and of course to Zwönitz. In bad weather, the small observation tower also offers an ideal shelter to sit out a rain shower and enjoy a snack.

The eight meter high observation tower, inaugurated on May 12, 2001, is 645 m above sea level. It lives up to its name, because when the weather is clear you can not only see the whole of Zwönitz, but also the Chemnitz heating plant. The tower, which is surrounded by green fields at the edge of the forest, was made of local wood and offers hikers a good place to rest.
