Cycling
Several deep and lateral springs feed the pond. The water power was due to backlog early for a brickyard; and used for an oil and grinding mill.
The outflow reaches as important Nebenbach after approx. 150 m underground course the cooker. The oil pond is privately owned.
The park with valuable trees provides an interesting habitat for plant and animal life.
Approximately 120 meters higher than the Ölweiher springs spring well in the slope of the "well dump". It drains the little-explored well cave.
