The Riss valley, also Rissbachtal, is drained by the Rissbach and is considered to be one of the most beautiful valleys of the Karwendel. The Eng is the head of the Rißbach valley in the Karwendel Mountains. At Almdorf Eng there is the famous large maple floor with over 2000 maple trees that can be up to 600 years old.
