We were there in October 2023. There was no horse waiting. We crossed the river ourselves wearing our hiking boots using stones in the river as natural bridge. The water altitude was between ankle height and knee height depending where you measured.

We were there at the beginning of June 2024, in the morning. Some locals were there with horses. But it was possible to cross on foot. The water was up to your knees, as long as you crossed at the right place. The hikers helped each other a lot to find the least complicated path.
