Those who want to quickly carve a few turns down into the valley in south-eastern Styria have a piste right on their doorstep in Schildhof near Ratschendorf. For more than 25 years, those responsible in Schildhof have been trying to conjure up an ideal slope on the slightly more than 200 meter long slope. With a tow lift, snow cannons and snow groomers you are well prepared. The magic of the huts away from the slopes has also been thought of. From Wednesday to Friday you can ski with floodlights from 6.30 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the weekend the ski lift is in operation from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
