    Tips

    March 14, 2023

Works Pond gets its name from the the nearby aggregates processing plant, which can be seen behind the vegetation.

The sandy shores are the result of the accumulation of fine silt from the aggregates cleaning process.
The silt encourages the growth of reed beds which form a specialised habitat for a number of species.
