We hiked up the mountain from Quiaios, but the route seems to be particularly popular with mountain bikers and downhill riders. Since the paths are narrow in places, it could be dangerous at the weekend if a cyclist comes towards us. We didn't meet anyone on a Monday. On the other side of the mountain (descent) the paths are wider and that won't be a problem there.
