On the Stockacher Höhe, two lime trees were planted in memory of the Franco-German War of 1870/71. The Peace Lindens were very common in Germany and still are today, as lime trees can live for several hundred years.
One of the lime trees fell victim to Hurricane Wiebke in 1990. From here, you have a wonderful view towards the Albtrauf, as well as towards Hohenzollern Castle.
