Lodbjerg Lighthouse is a so-called navigation light, which with its powerful light made it easier for ships to identify land and navigate coastal waters. Lodbjerg Lighthouse is still in operation and emits two white flashing lights every 20 seconds. From the top of the lighthouse, there is a wide view over the heath and the sea.

The listed lighthouse complex consists of the lighthouse itself and two parallel buildings connected to it, which served as apartments for the lighthouse staff. While in 1883 the area was still treeless, today the dune forest offers the lighthouse garden very good protection from the wind.

Next to the lighthouse there is a simple camp site with a shelter where you can lie in your sleeping bag at night and experience the flashing lighthouse.
