Made during a tour in the Alps in gravel with a bike loaded at 23kg and 40mm tires. Between the Col de la Roue and the track, the path is really difficult/chaotic and impossible to do in gravel (large blocks, hiking path etc.). Why not mountain biking. Pushing or carrying compulsory. But it's only 2-3km and then you join the 4x4 track that goes down to Valfrejus. There is even a really good Gîte at the end of this track, the Gîte des Tavernes. We eat very well!
