Beautiful privately owned estate with a footpath leading through to Stanley and Dale Abbey which is a nice circular walk, it has a big lake with lots of wild birds. Usually a fairly quiet place for walking and most Bank Holiday weekends you will see the 'Vikings' who camp for a couple of days and reenact fighting in full viking gear.
