The view from the Chasseron is breathtaking. You can see Lake Neuchâtel, the Swiss Plateau and the Alps if the sky is clear.
This view has to be earned: the second part of the ascent is very steep with passages at almost 20%. There are also several unpaved areas. It's ok with a road bike, but to have fun I recommend 28mm tires and a small development (34x32 or smaller)
