The stone-faced hall church made of quarry stone was built in 1725-31. The nave has a three-sided end in the east. The square steeple to the west has an octagonal slated spire topped by a double-tiered dome. The interior has galleries on three sides with painted parapets. The pulpit stands behind the altar, above which there is another gallery on which the organ stands.

One of the quaint, rustic village churches that can also be found in Wahlen and Gleimenhain.
