The Düppeler Schanzen (Danish Dybbøl skanser) was a Danish weir plant at Düppel in southern Jutland. Here the German-Danish war decided. After nearly five weeks of siege, the ten hills were stormed on 18 April 1864 by the Prussians under Prince Friedrich Karl.
