After Lithuania regained its independence, in 1990 The sculpture made by Stanislav Horn-Paplavski was restored in P. Gudyn's restoration center and placed again in the chapel pillar.

Today, in the chapel pillar stands a restored St. Sculpture by John Nepomuk. In 1990, the image of the guardian of the city of Trakai was honorably restored to its original place.
