The Jálama peak with its summit at 1487 meters above sea level is one of the highest peaks in the northwest of Extremadura and the views are amazing. Going up there requires good physical condition and can be started in the town of San Martín de Trevejo or by shortening the route by leaving the car in a small parking lot on the side of the road.
