Teufelssteine - NSG Stimberghöhe

The area around the Teufelssteine is particularly nice for hiking, as the ground is very soft. Because of the sand, it's rarely muddy.

The whole area is very interesting. There are many beautiful, small paths. You can quench your hunger and thirst after a strenuous tour at "Mutter Wehner". Or do you prefer to strengthen beforehand? 😉

The Haard is always worth a hike.

Almost no matter which way you take to the summit (just 159 m above sea level), they are all beautiful 🤗

Interesting stone: a sandstone with many traces of erosion, which was obviously sawed from both sides. On the left there is another section at a distance of approx. 30 cm. The stone lies halfway up the Stemberg in a rather wilderness. Does anyone have any idea whether there are traces of editing and - if so - how they came about?

The Teufelstein is located on the circular route around the summit of the Stimberg. Numerous information boards on the circular route also make the hike an educational event.
