The city water tower was put into operation with a new water supply system in 1926 (the design of the modern water supply plant was developed already in 1914, it began operating in 1916, initially pumping water directly into the network with pumps). The tower has a Barkhausen type tank with a capacity of 350 m3. The height of the tower is 45.5 m. It was decommissioned in the mid-1960s.
