The current town hall (1981/2005) has had three predecessors. The previous town hall was built in 1873. The building - in water management style - was demolished in 1980. For its construction, the court house from 1657 had to make way. But that court house also had a predecessor. The oldest court house was located in café De Vrije Handel.
During my Haarlem-Utrecht ride I skate past this. Beautiful building!
