My favorite ascents to the Alpl: Mountain bike: Via the Hauereck through the Traibachgraben or the Freßnitzgraben. From the south via the Christmettenweg. With the racing bike I avoid the traffic with the high road over the mining settlement. This turns the Alpl into a versatile pass...magnificent!
