Bike Touring Highlight
Very pretty little tourist town, very active in summer (night market, biggest market in Indre et Loire every Sunday, cultural activities, etc;)
Ideal starting point for bicycle loops with a large loop network from Amboise: marandoavelo.fr/fiches/les-reseaux-de-boucles/autour-d-amboise-et- chenonceauxRemember to cross the bridge and go to Ile d'Or to have a broader view of the castle :)Not to be missed: the Château d'Amboise and the Clos-Lucé, the essentials.
Go through the BIGOT pastry shop and chocolate place du château for a snack break :)

The Sunday market offers the cyclist many things to eat and drink, whether sweet (pancakes, pastries, coffee ...) or salty (cold meats, paella, chickens ...). The docks are impractical to borrow on bikes because of car traffic. The bridge was recently fitted out and offers a little more comfort than before ... The city offers many shops, and of course a famous castle to visit.
