The steam engine was manufactured by Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG Hanomag in 1911 for the cloth makers' guild in Roßwein (Krondorf & Metzler) and installed in the boiler house specially built for this purpose.The steam engine was not put out of operation until 1978, but not dismantled.
