The Pushkinallee served as the central axis, as a street with mighty plane trees still gives an impression of the time.
The Puschkinallee largely crosses Treptower Park with its four-row plane tree avenue. It was planted in the years 1875 to 1878 in connection with the Treptower Park based on designs by Gustav Meyer, then city garden director, a Lenné student. Meyer could no longer follow the development of the 1,200 vigorous plane trees, which were planted at a distance of only 6 x 8 m, since he died in 1877. Despite tree losses, the plane tree avenue makes a closed, vault-like impression today.
The plane tree alley with the Treptower Park is now a garden monument.

A beautiful avenue in the Treptower Park, surrounded by 140 year old plane trees, which form a bend. Spectacular

Nice route under the plane trees. The lane may also be used in the city center: the obligation to use the cycle path has been explicitly removed by means of a traffic sign.
