On the occasion of the 950th anniversary of Groß-krut, the steel bells from 1918 were replaced by bronze bells. The twelve bell had 900 kg, the eleven bell 390 kg, the ten bell 150 kg and the death bell 40 kg.

The bells were cast on February 11, 2005 in Passau. The consecration took place on April 10th.
The twelve bell dedicated to the church patron St. Stephen has 1000 kg, the eleven bell is dedicated to St. Mary and has 500 kg, the ten bell with 270 kg is dedicated to St. Thomas More and the death bell dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua has 190 kg.
