The Devil's Marbleyard is an area covered with huge boulders transported and deposited there by glacier movement-a true geological treasure. If you look closely at the rocks, you can see some small dark circles: these are fossils of single-celled organisms that lived on the sea floor millions of years ago. The sea sand was subjected to a series of compression, uplifting and breaking processes and became rock.
