Also known as the Church of the Hospital or Chiesuola, it was built in 1452 on an older oratory mentioned in 1202 and 1371. It was annexed to the modest Hospital, intended not as a hospital, but as a place to give hospitality to pilgrims, who found room in two distinct rooms, one for the clergymen and the other for the laity. The place left much to be desired, both for the confined space and for the poor hygiene conditions. In the nineteenth century there are attestations of spaces intended for disabled people.

In 1876 the portico in front of the Chiesuola was abolished, while in 1914 the hospital had become the Casa dei Poveri administered by the Congregation of Charity. The church, which has a single hall, was completely rebuilt after the last war and used for a few more years for religious purposes. It is now used as a parish auditorium.
