Wine literature on the Terrior f Würzburg by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. A weatherproof book on a lectern with a view of Würzburg.

To match the literature balcony, there is an indestructible guest book by Goethe. If you know what kind of building was originally planned for this location, the current building is a blessing.

The "Würzburger Stein" entered literary history in the 18th century - thanks to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. He wrote about the wine from this location: "I am grumpy when I miss my usual favorite drink." "Literature and wine - Goethe's guest book. Wine inspires" is the fitting theme of this terroir f. From the literature balcony, which hovers above the vines, visitors can enjoy the view of Würzburg and the vine-lined slopes that rise from the Main valley. On 13 steles you can meet Goethe, Walter von der Vogelweide, Hermann Hesse and Leonard Frank. All of them writers for whom wine enjoyment was very important, as you can learn in the grape harvest book. The terroir f is rounded off by a digital display case that provides even more information on the importance of wine in literature.
