Cycling

The Pratau-Pretzsch-Torgau line, on which Wörblitz station is located, was opened on July 13, 1890 by the Prussian State Railways. In 1997, passenger services between Pretzsch and Torgau were canceled. Freight traffic ended there on November 30, 2000. On October 2, 2000, the closure of the Pretzsch–Torgau section was approved by the Federal Railway Authority. It was legally completed on December 15, 2000.
