Hiking

Hutewald (Hütewald) is said to be a very rarely existing forest stand in Germany. The Hutwald am Halloh served the farmers from Albertshausen as a pig "outlet". There the pigs could run, dig and the leaves (mainly beech) would be fed. The forest is very impressive, in a way that pictures cannot convey. Very worth experiencing.
