I recommend two weeks in e.g. Crikvenica in "Villa Marica" and then round trips from there!
There are several places at Baška, above NoviVinodolski on the mainland, named 'Vidikovac'! Very good, to hike there and from there above heavenly view of the whole area; Kvarner, Rijeka, Crikvenica, Novi Vinodolski, Senj and over the water Istria, island of Krk with Šilo, Vrbnik and Baška and the amazing view between the island of Krk and island Hvar, with obvious view of the area where the 'Bašćanske Ploće' sunk ! 🤔
