The Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Białystok is a relatively new, but important for the local Orthodox community, church, built in the Leśna Dolina housing estate. Built in the 1990s, its architecture refers to the traditions of Old Russian and Novgorod as well as Podlasie sacral architecture. It is distinguished by its central interior plan and characteristic domes. The church continues the tradition of the pre-war Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ.

The church is located on the Green Velo bicycle trail (connector 203).

Churches and Orthodoxy – a handful of information and curiosities:
Orthodox priests may (but do not have to) start families, but they must do so before being ordained as priests,
Bishops and monks are required to be celibate,
The language in which Orthodox Christians pray in Podlasie is Church Slavonic, only in a few places is the liturgy celebrated in Polish,
Mieszko I was baptized in 966, but the territories of today's Lesser Poland had already been Christianized by the mission of Cyril and Methodius in the Eastern (Byzantine) rite,
The Orthodox Church does not recognize the Pope and has no equivalent in its organization – each local church is independent: it has its own legislation, judiciary and hierarchy. The Polish Orthodox Church gained independence (autocephaly) in 1924, so identifying the Orthodox with Russians is an absolute misunderstanding,
