The motif shown by Gabi in the photo of the church window is the most unusual depiction of an "ANNA SELBDRITT" I have ever seen. Background: Anna is the mother of Mary, the mother of God, Jesus' grandmother, who is not mentioned in the official biblical writings. The name "Anna Selbdritt" refers to - pictorial or figurative - representations of these three people, who are also three generations of a family. Here the motif is supplemented by two side angels who adore the Holy Family (without Joseph, Mary's bridegroom).

Trégastel is a pretty little seaside resort located not far from the famous village of Ploumanac’h. The resort offers a wide range of activities and remarkable places. Here reigns relaxation, magnificent sandy beaches as well as a rich heritage and unmissable natural curiosities, such as rocks with curious and original shapes. To see: the Sainte-Anne des Rochers chapel, whose first signs of construction date from the Neolithic period.

The Sainte-Anne des Rochers chapel was severely damaged in a fire on June 12, 2026. Approximately 75% of the slate roof was destroyed, and parts of the roof structure collapsed. The fire department managed to salvage several historical statues and liturgical objects from the interior. The completion of restoration work and reopening are scheduled for 2028.
