The new platform is located 330 m above sea level on the Hohe Hardt on the Alzen-Observation Tower hiking trail. It is 10 m long and 4.50 m wide at the front. The wheelchair ramp is 4.25 m long. The platform ends up floating 5 m above the rocky ground. The structure weighs 3 tons. The platform is designed to carry 7 people per square meter.
