This is where the village of Ramsee once stood. Around 1800 there were about 6 houses and 42 inhabitants. In 1849 there was a fire that destroyed three buildings. The church was the last building to be demolished in 1864. A memorial stone stands at their place today.

Why the place disappeared is not clear. It is assumed that all the buildings fell victim to a fire.
